Fenerbahce managed to convince Nando De Colo to turn around and leave aside his NBA aspirations. The French guard and the Turkish EuroLeague powerhouse have an agreement in principle, according to Eurohoops sources.
De Colo left CSKA Moscow and remains a restricted free agent of the Toronto Raptors in the NBA, however, this does not affect his deal with the Turkish club.
Fenerbahce had to react after losing Nicolo Melli and Marko Guduric to the NBA and Nando De Colo, possibly the most coveted free agent in Europe, is one of the biggest moves made in the old continent.
The 32 years old guard spend five years with CSKA, cementing his reputation as one of the most efficient scorers in Europe.
He is a two-time EuroLeague winner with CSKA Moscow (2016, 2019) and he moves to another contender.
De Colo is expected also to be one of the stars of the French national team in the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
