Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has offered James Gist a two-year deal. The sides are in advanced talks and there is a strong possibility of the player signing with the ABA League champions.
Gist spent last seven years with Panathinaikos (2012-19) and this past season averaged 7.4 points and 4.3 rebounds on 19 minutes of play.
This wouldn’t be the 32-year-old’s first stint in Serbia as he played with Partizan back in the 2010-2011 season when they won the ABA League, Serbian League, Serbian Cup and he was named the Serbian Cup MVP.
UPDATE: The deal is done. Gist will sign a two-year deal worth a total of one million dollars with Crvena Zvezda.
