Khimki Moscow announced that Rimas Kurtinaitis will stay the team’s head coach for two more years.
Kurtinaitis had a five-year stint with Khimki in the past (2011-16) and took over the team again in January 2019 replacing Giorgos Bartzokas.
The 59-year-old Lithuanian led Khimki to the VTB League Finals this past season which secured the team a spot in the 2019-20 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
During the previous stint, he led Khimki to 7DAYS EuroCup titles (2012, 2015) as well as a VTB League one (2011).
