Valencia presented an offer to Estudiantes guard Dario Brizuela, the ACB announced. According to the rules of the ACB “Tanteo”, Estudiantes has the right to match the offer until Sunday 14/7 (23:59) in order to keep the player on board.
If Estudiantes doesn’t match the offer, Valencia can acquire Brizuela and add him to the roster that will compete in the 2019-2020 EuroLeague, apart from ACB. Brizuela, 24, will play in EuroLeague for the first time in his career if Valencia lands him.
Brizuela comes off a breakthrough season in ACB. He averaged 14.7 points, 3.0 assists, and 13.3 PIR in 30 games.
ACB also announced that Iberostar Tenerife has submitted an offer to Real Madrid free agent Santiago Yusta. Real is subject to the same “Tanteo” rule regarding the deadline the club has to match the offer of Tenerife.
