CSKA Moscow announced Friday that they have parted ways with Sergio Rodriguez, confirming Eurohoops’ earlier reports.
The reigning EuroLeague champions held the option for the Spanish guard’s renewal, though decided not to activate it. Thus, Rodriguez is now free to select his new team for the next season, while at the moment he has offers from three Spanish teams.
Rodriguez, 33, averaged 10.2 points and 4.5 assists in the 2018-2019 EuroLeague season, helping CSKA reach the title.
