Maccabi Tel Aviv is trying to bring back Omri Casspi with a three-year, $3.4M deal, as stated on sport5.co.il. The interest of the Israeli side has already been known, but now the details of the deal make it seem lucrative enough for Casspi to return to Europe.
As previously stated by Eurohoops sources, Casspi’s priority has been to find an NBA deal, though, with this deal, it wouldn’t be surprising if he decided to make his comeback to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
As Sport5 mentions, Casspi will be the captain of the team and will take on a managing role once he retires.
