Facundo Campazzo and Nico Laprovittola have been teammates in the Argentinian national team for a long time but now they will join forces in Real Madrid jerseys as well.
The duo organized a basketball campus in Argentina at which they also shared a few words about their relationship. Campazzo noted that they’ve always wanted to play together, since they were kids: “I’m happy, always when we were kids we fantasized about playing together, who would go 1 or 2. During the time with Peñarol and him with Lanús. Now we play at Real Madrid, something we both dreamed of and being able to enjoy it together is unique”, he told Basquet Plus.
Laprovittola added that they’ve been in touch before his arrival in Madrid and it made his decision a lot easier: “I’ve been playing with him in the national team for many years and I asked him. We’ve talked a lot about what Madrid is about, the atmosphere, but there’s a lot that the team reflects on the field, which reflects Pablo Laso. It can be seen that it is a team with chemistry, in which everyone gets along well and knows each other. That’s a plus also when it comes to choosing a team, one tries to get to a place where they receive you well and knows that the environment is good. ”
