During Alex Abrines’ presentation, Barcelona’s director of professional sports Albert Soler admitted “an increase in the budget” but assured that the club remains “inside of Euroleague’s economic ‘Fair Play’ criteria and those of the club itself”, per Mundo Deportivo.
“Barca doesn’t have the biggest budget in Spanish basketball. What we have all achieved with this team is that the excitement of being part of the team is bigger than the price that it may have. With two exits and two additions, the budget has been balanced and there is one player.”
