AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan signed veteran center Paul Biligha to a three-year deal, the club announced on Monday. Biligha (2.00 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Umana Reyer Venice, which he helped win the Italian League championship last season. He averaged 3.7 points and 1.4 rebounds over 47 Italian league games. Biligha has also played for Verolanuova, Casalpusterlengo, Crema, Pavia, Avellino, Ferentino and Cremona during his career. He helped Venice win the FIBA Europe Cup in 2018. Biligha played for the Italian national team at EuroBasket 2017 under the tutelage of new Milan coach Ettore Messina.
“Coming to Milan means that, step by step, I reached the top, a team with a winning culture and very demanding for individuals. That’s what I needed to keep improving,” Biligha said.
