Bryant Dunston won for second season in row the “best defender” trophy! The American center of Olympiacos became the second player in the Euroleague, after Dimitris Diamantidis, who won this award more than once.
Panathinaikos‘ captain was the permanent winner of the Best defender award for five seasons in row (2005-2009) and one more in 2011, a season when he was also the MVP of the season.
Olympiacos‘ defense is the best in the Euroleague so far. So, the head coaches chose Bryant Dunston the best defender of the season. Nemanja Bjelica of Fenerbahce/Ulker Istanbul, Dontaye Draper of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Brad Oleson of FC Barcelona and Rudy Fernandez of Real Madrid followed.
