AX Armani Exchange Milan has signed Michael Roll to a two-year contract, the Italian side informed via press release on Thursday. Eurohoops previously reported that the two sides were close to an agreement.
“I want to share with the Olimpia fans that I am more than excited to claim this opportunity and play for such a prestigious club” the 32-year-old swingman mentioned upon signing and added: “I came to Milan to give everything and help the team achieve wins.”
Roll is coming off a pair of EuroLeague campaigns with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv. Through 58 appearances he averaged 9.1 points, had 9.1 points, 2.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game in the 2018-19 edition of Europe’s premier competition.
With Milan, the UCLA alumni will compete in the LBA Serie A for the first time. Aside from Israel, he has played professionally in Turkey, Belgium and Spain.
