Valencia strengthened its EuroLeague squad with Jordan Loyd, the Spanish team announced on Monday. The 26-year-old American guard inked a one-year contract.
Loyd signed with Darussafaka Tekfen last summer, but opted to join the Toronto Raptors without making his EuroLeague debut. He competed overseas with Hapoel Eilat during the 2017-18 season, but will play in Europe’s premier competition for the first time this year after all.
With the Raptors, the American guard took part in 12 regular season matches averaging 2.4 points over 4.6 minutes per game. He also notched 22.5 points, 5.9 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per G League contest with the Raptors 905.
