As made known by Andrey Vatutin on tass.ru, CSKA Moscow‘s games against Olimpia Milano and Panathinaikos (December 26 and January 3 respectively) have to be held away from USK CSKA and Megasport Arena due to their unavailability these dates.
“We have not taken a decision about these games yet, as Megasport Arena and USK CSKA won’t be available. We informed EuroLeague in June that there would be an issue with these two dates, but the schedule was set up in order to be convenient for all 18 teams.
There is no vacancy in Moscow for these two dates, thus we have to seek a solution outside the capital and we are considering options both in Russia and Europe. We will gladly accept offers from other cities.
EuroLeague’s basic criteria for a game is an arena with a minimum capacity of 7,000 seats and we will seek a solution within Europe, though we take into account every option, that has to be approved by EuroLeague”, mentioned Vatutin.
