Shelvin Mack is set to make his European debut next season with Olimpia Milano and the Italian team held a press conference for his presentation on Friday.
“I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity that was presented to me to come here, and I’m looking forward. I think I’m gonna do some unbelievable things”, commented Mack. “I can be a leader. I’ve been a leader in pretty much every team I’ve been on”.
“I have friends playing in EuroLeague, Jan Vesely is one of them. I have a lot of friends who also used to play here. Coach Messina explained what he needs from me, the culture, and the team’s winning mentality. Everybody speaks English in here, so I think it’s going to be an easy transition”, he added.
