Dee Bost and Dylan Ennis stepped up for AS Monaco Basket in the crucial moments as the French squad logged a 77-68 win over Anadolu Efes.
Efes couldn’t count on Dogus Balbay, Sertac Sanli, Bugrahan Tuncer, Vasilije Micic, Tolga Gecim, Adrien Moerman, James Anderson, Rodrigue Beaubois and Shane Larkin for various reasons (injury, world cup…)
Among those who did play, Tibor Pleiss logged 14 points and seven rebounds while Alec Peters added 13 points and five rebounds. Ilyasoglu Omercan helped with ten points.
The Turkish champions led 22-17 after ten minutes and had the minimal lead at halftime (39-38). However, Monaco took over in the third quarter to turn the tables (59-49) and held on until the very end for the win.
