Greg Monroe scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Bayern Munich beat Stanford Cardinal 67 – 66 in its first exhibition game ahead of the 2019-2020 season.
Former Stanford player Josh Huestis added 12 points including the game-winner, while Matej Rudan had 10 for Bayern Munich. So far there has been no information on Stanford scorers by either team.
Bayern will continue its preparation with a game against fellow German side Mitteldeutscher BC Friday (30/8).
