Valencia launched its preparation games ahead of the 2019-2020 season with an 81 – 41 win over Spanish Leb Oro (Second Division) club Tau Castello. The game was held in Ciutat de Castello.
Vanja Marinkovic and Aaron Doorknekamp scored 12 points for Valencia. Jordan Lloyd had 11 points, Mike Tobey 10 and Sam Van Rossom nine. 11 players overall scored for the winning side that allowed seven points in the fourth period.
No information on Castello scorers has been provided by other clubs so far.
In other preseason games held Friday (30/8), Monaco beat Alba Berlin, ASVEL dominated Antwerp while Olympiacos downed Iraklis.
