Zach LeDay found his groove and led Zalgiris to a narrow 75-72 win over Lietkabelis in their first preseason win.
LeDay nailed game-high 20 points while Arturas Milaknis added 11 in addition to Thomas Walkup’s ten points. The latter also grabbed seven boards, dished five assists and stole the ball twice.
For Lietkabelis, Zeljko Sakic scored 13 points while Martynas Sajus helped with ten points and seven rebounds.
Zalgiris was ahead 17-13 after ten minutes but Lietkabelis had the lead at halftime (31-29) as well as after the third quarter (54-53). However, Zalgiris managed to turn it around and secure the narrow win.
