Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv team visited the Chelmno extermination camp the morning after they landed in Poland where they will play their first preseason tournament.
Chelmno was the first camp where the Nazis murdered Jews by gas and the first place where the extermination took place in a permanent site. The city of Wloclawek was the first place in the Nazi occupation areas where Jews were forced to wear the infamous yellow badge, the source of the yellow color of the Maccabi uniform.
