Baskonia guard Nik Stauskas will be out for two to three weeks due to patellar tendinopathy, the club announced. He will begin preventive treatment therapy.
Stauskas is out for the remainder of the preseason and may miss the first two 2019 – 2020 Spanish League games of Baskonia against Estudiantes and Barcelona.
Baskonia signed Stauskas to a one-year deal earlier in offseason. The 25-year-old player arrived to the Basque side after a four-year NBA stint with the Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and the Portland Trail Blazers.
