The final of the 2019 NBA G League International Challenge featured FC Bayern Munich defeating the G League Elite Team, 93-84, on Sunday evening.
Greg Monroe poured a game-high 25 points at Montevideo, Uruguay, to conclude his side’s BayWa Basketball Tour. The 29-year-old American big started strong and went on for 10/13 two-pointers, also tallied 9 rebounds and 4 assists for a 34 PIR.
Nihad Djedovic scored 14 points, Paul Zipser 13, Maodo Lo 12 and Petteri Koponen 11. On the losing side, Paul Watson and Brandon Ashley shared a team-high 17 points, Haywood Highsmith, Xavier Munford and Dusty Hannahs had 10 points each.
