Media days usually don’t produce news, but that’s the case in Istanbul. Coach Zeljko Obradovic confirmed that Fenerbahce BEKO is on the market for a big man who can help both in the power forward and the center position.
Jan Vesely and Joffrey Lauvergne are not ready to step on the court yet, and that’s why a frontline player will be added in the roster.
As Obradovic said: “Joffrey Lauvergne practiced with us when the pre-season started, he felt a bit of pain, and we let him rest as a precaution. He will probably practice with us again in the next few days. Vesely worked all summer, but his treatment continues. We want him to be 100% ready, and will soon be practicing with us. Still, we are examining the situation in the “4” and the “5” position, and we are in talks with our management for one possible addition.”
