Ognjen Kuzmic signed with Crvena Zvezda mts this summer but suffered a serious car accident shortly after and has been recovering since. The 29-year-old told Tanjug that he should be joining the squad soon:
“Good, thank you for the question, I’m good. I’m satisfied with the recovery as is everybody in the club. We’re waiting for the return. I’m getting into it slowly. In the next couple of weeks, I should be joining the squad,” he said.
Kuzmic also shared a few words on the support he received during the crisis: “For the past two months, they gave me a lot of support which means a lot and it will be of big importance in the upcoming season at every home game. I think we have a great squad but we should focus one game at a time, to not get ahead of ourselves.”
