The 39-year-old Luis Scola has had a great run at the 2019 FIBA World Cup leading Argentina to a silver medal and proving he’s far from done.
He has been on the radar of many teams this summer and his agent confirmed talks with two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague clubs – Real Madrid and AX Armani Exchange Milan:
“I talked with (Real) Madrid, a team from Italy, from EuroLeague (Olimpia Milan), and with Boca (Juniors) too. Luis wants it but it’s complicated for the economic situation. It is the only Argentinian team that called me. There is no agent here, it is he who will have the final say,” Claudio Villanueva told the radio program ‘Reloj de 24’.
