CSKA Moscow defeated Promitheas Patras 72 – 52 in the second semifinal game of the “Gomelsky Cup” preseason tournament that the Russian team hosts.
Joel Bolomboy paced the winning side with 14 points and seven rebounds. Mike James added 11 points while Kyle Hines contributed 11 points and five rebounds and Darrun Hilliard 10 points.
For Promitheas, George Bogris finished with 10 points and Chris Babb with nine points and four boards.
CSKA will face Olympiacos in a match that we will see at least twice in the upcoming EuroLeague season. The Reds beat Unics Kazan in the tournament’s opener.
