Luis Scola made his long-awaited returned to the EuroLeague, wearing the jersey of AX Armani Exchange Milan after 13 years. Upon his return, the Argentinean superstar made sure that he filled the stat sheet of his first game vs. FC Bayern Munich even though the Italian squad didn’t steal the victory in the end.
What needs to be noted though is that his performance in Munich roughly reached the averages of his last EuroLeague season with TAU Ceramica in 2006-07, as pointed out by Walla’s Arale Weisberg.
2006-07 season averages | vs. FC Bayern Munich | |
Minutes | 26:28 | 28:30 |
Points | 15.5 | 17 |
2-point FG (%) | 57.6 | 57.1 |
Rebounds | 5.9 | 6 |
Fouls received | 4.3 | 4 |
