LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne announced on Monday that point guard Theo Maledon will miss the next month after suffering a shoulder injury over the weekend. Maledon was hurt during his team’s French League victory over Cholet on Sunday. The injury occurred late in the second quarter and the 18-year-old seemed to be near tears as he held his right shoulder on his way back to the locker room. Considered to be one of the top players of his generation in the world, Maledon started for ASVEL and made his EuroLeague debut on Friday, but was limited by foul trouble to less than 10 minutes on the floor.
