Fenerbahce’s 2-7 record in this new EuroLeague season marks an all-time low for Zeljko Obradovic.

Zeljko Obradovic, arguably the most successful head coach of his era with nine EuroLeague titles and plenty more honors, counted a negative record after back-to-back defeats in the first two EuroLeague contests against Real Madrid and Crvena Zvezda.

Never before had a team coached by Obradovic started the season with two defeats in 18 years (Panathinaikos 2001-2012, Fenerbahce 2013-now), making the defeat by Zvezda add to an all-time low.

And the negative record keeps on after 9 rounds in the 2019-20 EuroLeague, with Fenerbahce sinking to the bottom of the standings, second to last after Valencia with 2-7.
