EuroLeague Basketball released a statement in which the organization acknowledges refereeing mistakes that took place in the final minute (approximately 12 seconds before the end of regulation with the score 83 – 81 for Milano) of the Round 2 game between Olimpia Milano and Zalgiris Kaunas.

Per EuroLeague:

Following speculation surrounding a no call during the fourth quarter of the AX Armani Exchange Milan-Zalgiris Kaunas game played on October 11, 2019, Euroleague Basketball’s findings are:

In the fourth quarter with 14.0 left on the game clock, Michael Roll of AX Armani Exchange Milan caught a live ball on the playing court. After legally establishing both feet on the ground, he moved both feet again before dribbling the ball. This was an incorrect no call, which should have been called as a traveling violation, resulting in possession for Zalgiris Kaunas.

Immediately following this action, Michael Roll took one dribble after which he gathered the  ball, establishing his left foot as the pivot foot. Michael Roll subsequently moved his left (pivot) foot. This was an incorrect no call, which should have been called as a traveling violation, resulting in possession for Zalgiris Kaunas.

Immediately following this action, Michael Roll stepped on the centre line with his left (pivot) foot. This was an incorrect no call, which should have been called as a ball returned to the backcourt violation, resulting in possession for Zalgiris Kaunas.
