It’s now seven straight EuroLeague campaigns for Charles Jenkins. Appropriately enough he reached the 1,000 point milestone on Thursday early in his third stint with Crvena Zvezda mts becoming the 177th player with over 1,000 points in Europe’s premier competition.
The Hofstra alum posted 6 points in the overtime defeat to Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv to get to 1,002 points. He is not on pace for a record-breaking season in term of points scored, but his experience will help Milan Tomic’s side further down the regular season.
Jenkins introduced himself to the EuroLeague audience in the 2013-14 season with Crvena Zvezda accumulating 252 points through a couple of campaigns with the Serbian team. He went on to add 67 points with Milan in 2015-16, 282 back with Crvena Zvezda in 2016-17 and 387 in two next seasons with Khimki Moscow Region. His tally for 2019-20 is 14 points.
