Without a doubt, the answer is “yes”. Take Nando De Colo for example. He averages 29.13 PIR points (make them double if he’s your team captain) and costs 2.40. He’s basically kinda out of reach right now but you may find a bargain of a player to combine with the French star of Fenerbahce Beko.
The same thing applies for such players as Nikola Milutinov, Vasilije Micic or Shane Larkin. Alexey Shved, on the other hand, has been a bit disappointing choice considering his price and output (2.18 cost, 16.4 PIR). He may increase his PIR numbers soon though.
Here are a couple of players that are top-notch “value for money” choices: Omri Casspi (1.56 cost – 23.2 output), Tonye Jekiri (1.79 price), Alec Peters (1.22 cost, 18.8 output). Rokas Giedraitis and Vladimir Lucic are also two more options worth considering for this week’s games as well.
Keeping the faith in our team
Last week we switched Shavon Shields and Alec Peters with Niels Giffey and Giorgos Printezis respectively. The first two went great, the latter mediocre to good.
On the other hand, changing Malcolm Delaney with Scottie Wilbekin can be considered a success since the guard of Barcelona hasn’t performed that well so far.
This week, we will make just one change that our budget allows. We decided to get Facundo Campazzo and leave Scottie Wilbekin out, hoping that the Real Madrid guard will provide more to our team.
Our captains are once again Nick Calathes and Greg Monroe.
