Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has been in negotiations with Xavi Pascual who is the closest to becoming the team’s new head coach, according to Sport Klub.
Zvezda parted ways with Milan Tomic yesterday (22/10) and his assistant Andrija Gavrilovic is currently acting as the interim coach. The club is trying to seal a deal as soon as possible since they face five games in the next ten days split between EuroLeague and ABA League.
The 2010 EuroLeague champion with Barcelona in Pascual has been without a job since parting ways with Panathinaikos in December of 2018.
