Olympiacos has decided to go with Kestutis Kemzura as the head coach until the end of the season, and now they’ve added Donaldas Kairys to the coaching staff.
The 42-year-old spent the past two season as Kalev/Cramo’s head coach leading them to the Estonian League trophy both years and earning the Estonian League Coach of the Year awards.
At the start of his coaching career, Kairys served as an assistant in Khimki, Rytas, and CSKA as well as in the Lithuanian national team. He was with CSKA in 2008 when the Russian team won EuroLeague. Kairys was also the head coach of Dnipro-Azot, Tsmoki-Minsk, and Czarni Slupsk.
