Anadolu Efes forward Adrien Moerman is expected to return to action around mid-December, the club’s General Manager Alper Yilmaz said.
“We expect Moerman to play in mid-December,” Yilmaz said to Turkish network TRT. “But we don’t want to rush it. Because if he gets injured like that again, it’ll take him a long time to come back.”
Moerman underwent an Achilles tendon surgery in August. The original diagnosis estimated that the French player will be out from 12 to 14 weeks.
In 2018-2019, Moerman had the top season of his career, averaging 12.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game as Efes made the EuroLeague Final for the first time in the history of the club.
