Trey Thompkins has been registered in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for Round 8 in which Real Madrid will clash against Barcelona.
Coach Pablo Laso also confirmed he’s got 14 players available for the game while Felipe Reyes and Salah Mejri are out: “We have 14 available players, only Felipe Reyes and Salah Mejri cannot play. Barcelona is a team with loads of individual talent. They have determinant players in offense like Malcolm Delaney, Cory Higgins, Niko Mirotic, Brandon Davies, Alex Abrines, Kyle Kuric… You cannot think that stopping one player will make you win the game. We will have to do many things right and play great defense because Barcelona is a deep team with ability to score. They are also aggressive and put pressure on the ball… We must be ready to play a tough game because Barcelona will make it difficult for us.”
Thompkins has yet to play a game this season after getting out of shape during the summer and Real Madrid not wanting to risk an injury until he was ready to return.
