AX Armani Exchange Milan dropped Thursday’s home game to streaking Anadolu Efes and fell to 7-3 in the 2019-20 EuroLeague season. However, Vladimir Micov with the first out of his ten points for the night entered the 2,000-point club of Europe’s premier competition.
In his ninth EuroLeague run, the 34-year-old Serbian forward only needed 2:16 in the Regular Season Round 10 tilt to reach the 2,000-point mark. He went on with 4/4 inside the rainbow, but 0/3 beyond the arc in 25:13 of work.
Micov scored his first 29 EuroLeague points back in the 2009-10 season with Caja Laboral and went on with 145 points with Cantu in the 2011-12 season. Afterwards posted 468 with CSKA between his 2012-13 and 2013-14 campaigns, and 524 with Galatasaray in 2014-15 and 2016-17. Poured the rest of his 843 points with his current side.
The experienced forward is the 33rd member of the 2,000-point club. Juan Carlos Navarro sits on top with 4,152 points during his legendary career, while Olympiacos’ teammates Vassilis Spanoulis and Georgios Printezis follow in second and third place, respectively.
