Serbian coach Aleksandar Djordjevic had signed a two-year deal with Panathinaikos back in 2015 but the sides parted ways in April the following year.
The whole situation went to the court and the result was Panathinaikos having to pay out 350,000 euros to Djordjevic. The sides agreed on an unprecedented 17-month payout plan with the initial payments being higher.
The payout plan started in April, however, Panathinaikos stopped paying Djordjevic in August, as the coach’s greek lawyer Giannis Marakakis stated on Sport24.
Τhe side of Djordjevic informed FIBA about the situation which gave Panathinaikos a deadline until December 11 to resume with the payments of the debt.
