Real Madrid star guard Sergio Llull’s recovery from a biceps injury will take a couple more weeks than it was initially planned, per Carlos Sanchez Blas.
Llull will stay out of action at least until the Spanish ACB League game of Real Madrid against Andorra on December 22. The 32-year-old player will thus miss the EuroLeague matches against Olimpia Milano and Baskonia, apart from Thursday’s clash vs. Olympiacos Piraeus.
In 2019-2020, Llull has been averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 assists in 19:33 over 10 EuroLeague matches prior to his injury. He hurt his right biceps in the Spanish League match vs. Gran Canaria on November 24.
Real Madrid is currently sitting at the second place of the EuroLeague standings, tied with Barcelona at 9-3.
