Former EuroLeague champion Aaron Jackson is expected to reach a termination deal with the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and become a free agent. And there are already a couple of EuroLeague clubs targeting the American guard.
According to Israeli website Sports 5, while Maccabi Tel Aviv awaits for Jackson to be available on the market, Fenerbahce Beko and Olimpia Milano are also interested in the player and are “expected to make him offers.”
Maccabi is looking for a guard to boost its injury-plagued backcourt following the injuries of Nate Wolters and John DiBartolomeo. Fener has a similar issue with Leo Westermann’s injury.
Jackson, 33, played in EuroLeague for six seasons, one with Bilbao and five with CSKA Moscow. He won the 2016 EuroLeague plus five VTB League titles with the Russian powerhouse.
In 2017, Jackson moved to China to sign with the Beijing Ducks in 2017. He then briefly joined the Houston Rockets to make his NBA debut in 2018.
