Keifer Sykes is leaving Guangzhou Loong Lions for the EuroLeague and Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan as Eurohoops sources confirm.
The addition of the former Avellino player is expected to be official soon, and there’s a deal between the two sides as Sportando reported first.
Sykes is coming off a good start of the season in China (28.2 ppg, 6.1 apg, 5.3 rpg), and he is a known quantity to coach Ettore Messina since he was a member of the Austin Spurs back in the 2015-16 season.
Sykes played last season in Italy with Avellino and the 25-year old point guard will finally make his EuroLeague debut. He is expected to arrive in Milan next week.
