Brandon Paul is enjoying his first season in Greece with Olympiacos. Has played in all 17 EuroLeague games so far averaging 9.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.9 steals per contest. Sitting down for an interview with Eurohoops, the Illinois alumni talked about his 2019-20 run, his move to the Reds, his time in the NBA, Tony Parker and his future.

“After I played against Olympiacos I realized that this was a big-time club and something that I want to be a part of,” he noted, “Coming here, I was just hoping I can build a legacy here and continue to get better.”

“I think it was a combination of coming back to EuroLeague and playing at a high level,” he added on his decision to join Olympiacos, “Also playing with Spanoulis, Milutinov and Papanikolaou. I played against all those guys a few years ago and I saw how much passion they had. I wanted to be a part of something that I felt that I could come somewhere and win.”

“For me coming in as a rookie, I was an older rookie but it still was my first year in the league, he did a great job helping me out,” he mentioned on Tony Parker’s guidance, “He is a Hall of Famer. Everyone from San Antonio to people in France and around the world, they know his talent and his character.”
