CSKA Moscow announced that Daniel Hackett has been diagnosed with an openly twisted index finger which he suffered in the VTB League game against Khimki Moscow.
Hackett logged ten points in the loss against Khimki while he put on big outputs in the last two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games with 24 and 28 points.
Overall, Hackett has been averaging 8.7 points, 2.7 assists, 2.6 boards, and one steal over 26 games this season split between the VTB League and EuroLeague.
UPDATE: CSKA Moscow announced that the initial diagnosis was wrong and that Hackett didn’t suffer a fracture but an openly twisted index finger in his left hand.
Our team’s guard Daniel Hackett injured the index finger on his left hand in the fourth quarter of the game at Khimki.
Fortunately, the tests in the GMS Clinic of Moscow did not reveal the fracture in the player’s hand. He is diagnosed with a openly twisted finger.
