Bayern Munich parted ways with Dejan Radonjic and although Velimir Perasovic was one of the candidates, Oliver Kostic will be the one to take over the head coaching job for the rest of the season, the team confirmed Tuesday.
Kostic has been working under Dejan Radonjic as an assistant coach since the latter took over Bayern in April 2018. Before that, he was in charge of Bayern’s U19 squad with which he won the German youth championship. He was also a part of Bayern’s second team.
In the past, he also worked under Svetislav Pesic (Rome 2004-2006 and Crvena Zvezda in 2007/08), Henrik Dettmann (MBC). He gained experience as a head coach in Bulgaria with Lukoil Academic Sofia.
