Panathinaikos Athens is close to reaching a deal with Canadian shooting guard Andy Rautins according to a report by “Sportime”.
Rautins, 33, averaged 14.3 points, 2.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 32.1 minutes over 28 games in the Turkish BSL League with Bahcesehir in 2018-2019. He finished with 44.54% on 3-pointers and it’s this shooting efficiency that Panathinaikos is looking to bring on board by signing the player.
If the two sides officially agree to a deal then Rautins will make his EuroLeague debut with Panathinaikos. He previously played in the Basketball Champions League in 2017-2018, averaging 9.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists with Banvit Bandirma.
