Velimir Perasovic returned to Laboral eight years after his departure in order to bring the Baskonian team back to the glory days, where he left them in 2007, when in the two years he was the coach he led them to two appearances in Euroleague Final Fours.
The Croatian coach was fired at the beginning of January from Valencia and so Josean Querejeta asked him to return to the Basque Country to replace Ibon Navarro who departed yesterday. Perasovic signed a contract for 1+1 years with Laboral as it was announced.
Moreover, Perasovic is also coach of Croatian NT, but though the Spanish regulations for the NT coaches, Laboral announced the deal with him.
