LeBron James with a triple double (39 p., 16 r., 11 as.) and Matthey Dellavedova with some great defense and two crucial free throws in overtime got the 95-93 win in Oakland over the Warriors and tied the NBA finals at 1-1.
It was all about LeBron for the Cavs in an ugly game in which Steph Curry just couldn’t score. He finished with 19 points on 5/23 shots and he missed the potential game winning shot in overtime. Clay Thompson had 34 points, but both teams shot under 40% from the floor.
Coach David Blatt used practically with seven players – the eight, Mike Miller, played only for 6 minutes – still the Warriors trailed for most of the night and managed with a last minutes effort in regulation to get the overtime. Russian center Timofey Mozgov got a double double (17 p., 11 r.) for the winners, however he was used only for a modest 29 minutes.
