Fenerbahce/ Ulker will be quiet for one more week, but after that big decisions have to be made for the future of the team’s roster. There are many issues that have to be solved, at least 4-5 transfers will be made and before everything starts, Fenerbahce has to make a very crucial call on Goudelock’s future.
The top Euroleague scorer has an NBA opt out clause on his contract until the end of July, however at the end of next week the team opt out clause of Fenerbahce in his contract also expires. There’s no doubt about the quality of the player and his contribution to the team, however the way the season ended and his mentality dissapointed – to write the least – coach Zeljko Obradovic.
That’s the first big issue that Fenerbahce has to solve and the clock is ticking. The second crucial point is who is going to be the new director of the basketball section. After the recent elections the new board has decide who will get this role and will be the liaison between the basketball team and the club board.
