Sloukas on PAO: “This is silly”

Just hours after Olympiacos won the championship title in Greece, Panathinaikos leaked to the media that an 1,6 m. euros offer for two season was made to the free agent of the Reds, Kostas Sloukas.

However Sloukas himself talked to the Greek public radio and used harsh words for the Greens and their offer: “This is silly. I want to speak first with Olympiacos. The fact that Panathinaikos decided to make an offer and do it this way it’s silly. They are just trying to affect things. What’s important for Olympiacos is to keep the same roster core, because that’s the way for the team to keep the advantage over Panathinaikos. The owners must do what they must”.

Still the player left his future options open and not tied to Olympiacos: “It’s not a secret that I want to remain in Olympiacos, but we have to negotiate. For me the money part of a deal is important, but also comes second. I want to get more minutes and a bigger role. I am a professional and I will decide which will be the best option for me”.
