Real Madrid seems to be in danger of losing not only Sergio Llull to the NBA, but also Sergio Rodriguez according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski.
As he reports Rodriguez “has plans to negotiate a return to the NBA in summer free agency, league sources told Yahoo Sports”. The point guard signed last year a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2018, however this contract includes a buyout clause.
The question at this point is what kind of offers will “El Chacho” get not only on financial terms, but also on the role he will get in the team he may sign with. Rodriguez was the 27th pick of the 2006 NBA draft and played in the NBA from 2006 until 2010 with Portland, Sacramento and the Knicks.
