Oliver Lafayette’s future is on Olympiacos’ hands and according to Eurohoops’ sources he will be released. But Unicaja wants to sign him.
One year ago, Oliver Lafayette signed a contract with Olympiacos for 1+1 years with a team option for the second season. So, the Reds have to pay a small amount of money for the opt out clause and then they are free to sign another player.
The American guard with a Croatian passport has big European experience and the first team that it’s interested to get him is Unicaja. The Spanish team will try hard to keep Jayson Granger in its roster, but it’s difficult to happen, because there are many teams that will try to lure the American guard who had great season in Malaga.
So, it’s expected that Plaza will focus on Lafayette with whom he cooperated in Zalgiris.
